Is Credit Repair legal?
Is credit repair legal?
Yes. Credit repair is legal, and consumers have the right to dispute information on their credit reports that they believe is inaccurate, incomplete, or cannot be verified. Our team helps clients review their credit reports, identify items that may warrant a dispute, and communicate with the credit bureaus and applicable furnishers throughout the process.
How does credit repair work?
We start by reviewing your credit reports to understand what is currently being reported and identify potential areas of concern. From there, we develop a personalized dispute strategy and submit disputes on eligible items to the appropriate credit bureaus and/or furnishers. As responses and updated reports become available, we review the results, track changes, and determine the appropriate next steps for subsequent rounds.

Which plan is right for me?
The right plan depends on your individual credit profile, how many items may need attention, and your financial goals. We offer 3, 6, and 12-round credit repair options, as well as specialized services for individuals preparing for homeownership and those seeking assistance with eligible hard inquiries.
If you're unsure where to start, you can complete our $1 Credit Audit so we can review your credit profile and help determine which option may make the most sense for your situation. Text "Audit" to 650-273-3225.

How long does the credit repair process take?
There is no universal timeline for credit repair. Every credit profile is different, and the amount of time needed can depend on the number and type of items being disputed, how the credit bureaus and furnishers respond, and whether additional dispute rounds are appropriate.
Some clients may see changes early in the process, while others may require multiple rounds before seeing meaningful changes. No specific deletion, score increase, or timeframe can be guaranteed.

Why are your results different?
There are two sides to the credit score battle. Sometimes, the creditors and the credit bureaus have done absolutely everything right and we have no case against them. On average, clients are able to remove 70% of the negative items from a credit report.
Will deleted items come back?
Items cannot come back as long as the item is current or paid at the time of removal or if the collection is older than three years. This holds true except in very rare circumstances. Credit repair does NOT take your legal obligation away to pay a debt, so although it is successfully removed, a debt collector can still attempt to collect the debt. It can come back if the debt is sold to a new collector. Therefore, we highly recommend once it is removed from all credit files it's reporting on to negotiate a settlement for a lesser amount so that this will not occur.
What items can you help me to remove and improve?
With our assistance and document processing, our clients have had great success with bankruptcies, foreclosures, collections, charge-offs, repossessions, medical bills, credit card debt, inquiries, late payments, old addresses, judgments, tax liens and student loans.
